How to disable Windows Update

Basically, two ways:
1) Either use gpedit.msc, User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Start Menu and Taskbar -> Remove links and access to Windows Update
2) Or regedit
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
NoWindowsUpdate:DWORD=1
No need to reboot.
